Back at school for my last year..yay!  It's been a non-stop homework extravaganza.  Not at all thrilling.    My roommates however are amazing.  I'm having a blast hanging out w/ them.

I'm determined to be productive this year.  Shawna and I have been going to the gym everyday to workout and lift.  It's a nice break from all the school work.  I'm not running XC this year so going to the gym is a must!  No matter how lazy some may say I am!!!

I'm also planning on getting involved in activities I've wanted to do, but didn't have time for in the past.  I think the year is going to go by fast and I'm eager to graduate.  I'm ready for the real world.

McCray's Week was a blast as usual.  Who would have thought a huge flame of fire shooting out of the ground would be sooo exciting?!  haha, well it is!  I can only hope that next year we kill wasps at night.    Team sports, late night talks on the porch of the office, and a hilarious shaving cream fight..I'd have to say it was a pretty fantastic week.  I can't deny that I enjoy the entire summer, but there are some weeks that just stick out in my mind more than others.  This week is definitely one of them.
Bill Hopkin's week I was a cannibal with scary looking eyes on my eyelids.  lol  There was an fun filled late night swim with some of the girls..we were attacked by frogs!  We started out with 5, including myself, but poor Kristina was ate by one!!!  It was unfortunate.  (Girls I hope you enjoy that).   I got the cereal chair and water chair for being a LADY!!  What's with that?!  haha  For those of you who don't know what Kangaroo Court is..well let's just say you're guilt no matter what you plead and are punished serverely for what you are accused of.  I had to sit in a chair while they poured cereal and milk over my head, YUCK, then the sprayed me down with a hose!
The summer is winding down and as much as I'm ready to be back at Harding, finishing up...I don't want the summer to end.  It's going to be lonely next year.

It's that time again..  Another update from the crazy world of camping.

Greg Tidwell's Week was interesting as always.

Mike Grose's Week; let's see:  Lot's of late night junk food parties, Yummy!!  Bucky the Beaver was out and about scarying the little ones..haha.  Pooh and his friends danced like crazy fools at Friday Night Live.. I was Roo hopping about with Kanga.  Late night swims..shhh!!  Visit from old friend from high school.  It's always great to catch up and fun to reminise.  Summary:  Great times with old friends and memories that will last forever.

Bob Manasco's Week: How exciting to be surrounded by old friends that I went to camp this week with.  Families I've grown up with and my own family there to share in the good times.  Weather was terrible all week, but that didn't stop the fun.  Matt Clouse came to visit me...Thanks Matt!  Amber Leonard's little sister Katie was there.  She's such  a sweetheart!  Tyler Kemmerer and his sister Makenzie stopped to visit for a few days; along with some other old friends.  Harding was well represented this week.  We should get some type of commission.  haha  Assassin was played again this year; I killed 2 and managed to escape today without dieing.  Lol.  "The Presentation" was given and hysterical this year.  Plan B was up and running; however, cut short this year.  Campfire was good this week, better than it has been.  I love you guys!!

I hope everyone is still having a wonderful summer break!

Alright it's time for a camp update.
Jay Wilkin's Week is always full of excitement and drama among the young high school aged campers.  As exciting as my summer may be I'm eager to hear about this heated drama.  I want to know all that is going on.  Who needs a tv?!..I've got live soap operas each week!  Love was in the air this summer at dear ole FHCYC between many of these campers.  It's a slow process for some, but most jump right into it.  haha  We had a marvelous toga banquet, which I must say had 3 very beautiful goddess's (Kaili, Julie, and myself) and of course there was the great Caesar (Jay)!!  It was great getting to spend time with old friends such as Kaili Thomas, Chris Mickey, and Alea Wohnhas and those who couldn't make it this year were deeply missed.  I was also able to make some new friends this year, Julie Spencer and the adorable little Raegan.  Kaili and Julie, you made my first week of camp a blast!!  Thanks girls!!  I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the drama quite as much w/o you!!
Bill Phillis's Week was interesting.  There were about a million staff members and even more campers..lol.  I have to take a moment to say DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SHUT A DOOR!!!  My office is now infested w/ bugs because the entire camp came in and out all week and not one person shut the door behind them!   At first I let it slide, but by the middle of the week I was on edge and ready to hurt someone.  On a good note, there were 5 baptisms, which is always great.  Also Bill works for the Board of Ohio Education or something like that..lol, either way he's at the top w/ our educational system and is going to help me find a school that is in need of an SLP.  I know that's probably not that exciting for all my readers, but for me that's huge!!  I've been stressing out over what I'm going to do after graduation and if he can help me get a job that would be sooo wonderful.
Ash I haven't forgotten you though...if that doesn't work out, or if it does , I'll figure out something so we can still go on our adventure!!  hehe  I'm going to miss you so much while you're gone.
Sorry that was a little aside.
I got asked on the first day, as the 10 year old boy was going through the registration line, to the weeny roast. haha  I've never been asked to it that quickly before.  He came running into the office to walk me out to campfire and I was busy working at the computer.  (I do actually do some work while I'm at camp, don't be fooled) haha, I told him I'd meet him out there.  Once I got there, w/ a huge smile he showed me that he had cooked my hot dog and everything.. what a gentlemen!   lol
Well that's about all the excitement I've had in the last 2 weeks.  I hope that everyone is having just as much or even more..hehe.  I'll update you again.

I've started training for cross-country and oh my goodness am I out of shape..haha   I'm eager to get back to the stage that running 10 miles isn't anything.  I feel like I came in freshmen year at Harding and exceeded the expectations I had for myself.  Now I would like to go out the same way I came in, you know.

I better look 40 or younger when I'm 55..haha  I don't know how many people I've met since I've been home have thought I was 16 or younger.  I should be used to it by now, but I hate being 22 years old and having everyone think I'm 16.  And each time I tell my age, people's jaws drop and they say, "well honey you'll love that when you're my age" (yea, yea.)...haha  My only response to that is... I better!!!

Hope everyone is having an awesome summer so far.  Camp is starting so I'm sure I'll be leaving lots of interesting xanga reports about how it's all going!
